Every mark, another story. What do you think about when you view abstract art like this? My hope is that the underbelly of grief ( the driving force behind my mark making having lost my Dad when I was 7) is not the loudest part of the viewing process. But that the bright flashes of colour and neon Indicate the life we walk everyday which is worth our energy and attention. Good@times are still possible even in the face of loss or change. It’s not a side of me that I like or wish to pas

It’s not a side of me that I like or wish to pass on to my kids. Nonetheless , I find difficulty in trusting and my view of relationships has been warped. My dad dying the week before my 8th birthday marked my life and as a result I have worked through my awkwardness with friendships and relationships where I trust too much ( I’m needy) or I trust too little ( I’m rude). Right across to dealing with folk through my business, I don’t always put my best foot forward because I am wary.

If you’re the same and your life situation was affected by loss or another traumatic occurrence, lean in to the oddness with which you navigate friendships, relationships and work colleagues. No one is perfect and we simply journey how we see fit. Human instinct isn’t always about protection.
Sometimes the vulnerable sticky moments are where we learn most about ourselves. What a glorious project to work on! Art has helped@me@process.

Look at their busy little hands! My next kids workshop is 11th March and I have limited spots.

Lion (Aslan) is the theme of the day! A lion print ( RRP £30) will be included for each participant.

Location- Belfast city centre. Location tbc

2-4 age group (parents stay) 10:30-11:30am. Sensory and Aslan painting £20

5-7 age group 12-1pm £20 Sketching and Aslan painting

8-10 age group. 1:30- 3pm. £25 Charcoal, pastel and Aslan lion painting. Should you decide to go ahead please let me know your child’s name, the chosen age group and their date of birth. Your name and phone number. I will add you to the spreadsheet!
