25 Feb Fruit fondue | RECIPE|
I say fruit fondue but really this is more of a cold fruit treat to be enjoyed as soon as it cools, or while it is still warm.
It’s easy to “make”,
can be a great dessert if you give everyone skewers,
have the chocolate in a pot at the centre of the table and the sprinkles nearby.
- Sliced mango
- Sliced pineapple
- Sliced apple
- Chopped strawberries
- Slices of orange
- 85% cocoa chocolate
- Coconut oil
- Desiccated coconut
- Flaked almonds
- Linseed or any other crunchy seeds like pumpkin, poppy seeds etc
- Simply heat your chocolate and add in the tbsp of coconut oil to keep it from hardening too quickly
- Dip your fruit slices in and then sprinkle them with the toppings or roll the chocolate fruit in them for all over overage!
- Serve immediately or keep in the fridge until after dinner for a crunchy treat
