Sketching in the car this morning in lovely Donaghadee. When it comes to sketching objects / things I think boats are up there with my favourite. The curves and the angles are great fun to capture.

Throwback to this time two years ago when I was painting plein air in locations on the east and west coast of America. With my three year old in tow because my husband and big two boys were @camp_treetops in upstate New York.

One or two of the paintings above are available but many of them have sold. I painted or sketched everyday during my trip. This is a great way to hone skills and to let go of the fear of perfection. It’s all about the making of@art!

When you feel like you are being watched ... small but colourful and full of life! Polar bear and hare are available. The pooch has a new home and the customer framed in it a large frame to make that purple stand out 💜
